Counselling is a form of psychological or talking therapy that brings insight to the individual. Counselling facilitates an opportunity for people to change behaviour or manage their emotions - to find a better way to navigate their lives whether adults, teens, or children. 
 
I am a registered counsellor in private practice, registered with the HPCSA. I have a passion to see lasting change in individual's lives and I endeavour to have a deep understanding of those I interact with and counsel. My approach is eclectic, working with each client according to their individual needs. 
 
Creativity is a foundation in my life and I bring this skill to my counselling when I feel it is in the interests of the client progressing. I am able to use creative tools such as intuitive drawing and other right brain techniques to enhance a person’s ability to have insight into their problems, particularly those of an emotional nature. I occasionally run corporate workshops using creativity to bring insight, understanding and transformation to teams.
 
I am able to counsel children from the age of 3 years and up using both directive and non-directive techniques. My practice allows for a space where parents or care givers can wait with other siblings, or work in quiet.
 
For those seeking pastoral or Christian counselling, I am specifically trained in pastoral counselling volunteering for a number of years at Bryanston Methodist's Counselling House.
